How to Get There

We want everyone attending our wedding to be able to fully relax and celebrate!
Please consider taking the shuttle even if you are not staying at one of the hotels. The road out of Topanga Canyon is dark, windy, and dangerous at night even for a sober driver.

Shuttles will pick up guests from both hotel locations at 3:15 PM. If you aren't staying in one of the hotels, you (if you RSVPed for it) can still get picked up by the shuttle from the Best Western. There is an inexpensive city lot across the street from the Best Western where you can park and walk to the front of the Best Western.

If you would prefer not to take the shuttle, you can drive or take a rideshare.
The venue address is 128 Old Topanga Canyon Road, Topanga, CA, 90290. We will be covering the costs of the required valet as there is limited parking (please consider carpooling). Please note: it may take a while for a rideshare car to pick you up as the venue is not near major urban areas, and you may not have great cell service at the venue location.

Where to Stay

For our out-of-town guests, we have secured rooms at the following hotels:

Courtyard Los Angeles Woodland Hills
Make Reservations Here
$184/night/room, $15/night parking, plus tax
Located right off the 101 freeway, conveniently situated on Ventura Boulevard next door to Trader Joe's, two blocks from Whole Foods Market, and multiple local restaurants within walking distance.
Best Western Woodland Hills Inn
Make Reservations Here
$179/night/room plus tax, parking & breakfast included
Conveniently situated on Ventura Boulevard next door to a Ralphs, Sprouts, and several restaurants within walking distance. This hotel is technically the closest to our venue.

Flights

If you live more than a few hours drive away, we assume you'll be flying to celebrate with us. The two closest airports are the following:

Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR)
Less busy, fewer overall flights, good option for Southwest
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
More flight options (especially for long-distance), busier, and more traffic

Things to Do

If you are visiting from out of town and able to spend some additional time in the area, here are some nearby things you might enjoy.

Hike Topanga Canyon

Drive to Trippet Ranch Parking Lot (lot has a small parking fee) where you will find a variety of hiking trails of different difficulty levels to enjoy the Santa Monica mountains.

Shop & Dine at The Village or the Topanga Mall in Woodland Hills

Shop until you drop at over 400 shops and restaurants outdoors at The Village shopping center or indoors across the street at the Topanga Mall.

Enjoy the Beaches of Malibu

Enjoy some of the most iconic beaches of California. Just remember to put on sunscreen!

Santa Monica Pier Boardwalk

Explore the Santa Monica Pier Boardwalk, and decide if you want to just people watch or go on a ride. Walking distance from the Third Street Promenade which hosts a variety of shops and restaurants.

Dining

Here are a few of our favorite dining options in the area.

Cafe On 27

Planning to spend the day in Topanga Canyon? One of the nicest places to get brunch/lunch is Cafe 27. Scenic patio seating with fresh and tasty American and Moroccan cuisine. This place can get pretty busy so would recommend making a reservation and be prepared to deal with a very limited parking situation. Once you are in though, it's a pretty nice experience.

Malibu Farm

Headed to the beach? Grab a nicer meal at Malibu Farm Restaurant on Malibu Pier. Nice views, fresh farm-to-table style new American food, relatively pricey.

Casaléna

New classy Italian/Mediterranean restaurant in Woodland Hills. Nice ambiance inside and out (inside can be loud). Limited parking we think is valet only. We found street parking in the nearby residential neighborhood.

Tacos Yahualica

Staying in the Valley? Looking for both a delicous and budget friendly option? This is our favorite 'hole in the wall' taco shop. They either sell tacos out of the front window or sometimes inside behind the meat counter. Very minimal seating, we always get them 'to-go.'

So Sushi

This place on Ventura Boulevard is close to our house and has become our new favorite sushi place. They have a friendly atmosphere with one of the owners often working behind the sushi bar chatting with guests. There can be a bit of a wait if you go at a peak dining time.

Brent's Deli Northridge

Long-time popular Jewish deli. Great place to get a reuben, pastrami, or corned beef sandwich. Prices are kind of high, but we think their portion sizes are generous.
